Silver City is a town located in Grant County, New Mexico. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 10,545. It is the county seat of Grant County. It was the end of 'the race' in the movie Rat Race, though scenes depicting the town were actually filmed in Ely, Nevada. (More Info and Source)
